    Great location, most staff helpful, some a little less.

    The pool is not open. The petrol is quite expensive ($2/L). The comping fee was $45 for 2 persons in a car.

    Stayed one night in a safari cabin tent. Clean and tidy, close to the kitchen tent and the bathroom building. Good stop between Alice and Kings Canyon.

    Other than that camp fire is permitted which is nice and activities (quadbike, helicopter..) that we did not tried are available. The station is 30km from kings canyon.

    We ended up booking a room, without ensuite for $140. Not bad but beat camping in the heat. Otherwise kitchen, bathrooms, washing facilities good.

    It's bush hospitality. No power going past so big diesel generator. Plenty of shadie areas and even grass to camp on. Under shade areas to cook. I enjoyed my time there. Amenities are clean.

    You can admire a nice sunset on the top of the hill at the back of the campground (ask the staff for more precisions)

    A quiet place to take the family from a busy city. Plenty to do and see if you are keen to experience a country/desert lifestyle.
