Stayed at the lodge which was sufficient for most needs- the campsite looked awesome, so would probably stay there next time! Dinner at the Carmichael's Restaurant was amazing!! Best steak we've ever had and the Bushman's brownie is beautiful!

Great camp spot. Watch for the roaming dingos. Great outdoor bbq bistro with live music. Bit pricey for food n drinks although very remote. Do the rim walk but not when hot.

Excellent campground. We enjoyed our stay in our camper trailer. Easy access to Kings Canyon. Loved the isolation. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Be wary of the dingos however - they come right up to the campsites looking for food. Petrol was $2.09 a litre.

Go for the rimwalk, it's amazing at sunrise. The heat is better at that time as well. In summer you want to have it finished before 9/9.30 in the morning. So you probably want to start around 6am. It's worth going out of bed for, and I'm definitely not a morning person. It was my highlight of the outback. And yes, that means its better than Uluru, just because the walk is so diverse. It starts with climbing and gives you amazing vieuws.

Stayed two nights in the resort, old and dirty, bathroom door couldn't even been closed, staff at the reception not smiling or friendly. Please avoid this place.. It s very expensive for what you have.
