I was so angry I asked to see the manager, he then said to me 'this is my kitchen. I'm the manager if you don't like it don't eat here' and slammed the door on me.

This would have had 5 star, but on my second night I saw the young thin Indian shopman/kitchen cook walk from the shop handilling people's money and coughing on his hands, into the kitchen and start to plate somebodies salad and use the grill WITHOUT washing his hands!

I stayed here last week for 2 nights - one free camp, one en suite as it was too hot to deal with at this time of year.

Apart from this everything was really good. Only if he said sorry then washed his hands everything would have been okay. Manager was the rudest person Iv ever met in a hotel stay!!!!!!!

While stopping to fill up, check out the emu, other wild birds and maybe grab a bottle of F****** Good Port.

Small oasis in the middle of nowhere. Women workers were cordial. Men were gruff. Everything was extremely expensive. Interesting shipping containers converted to nice little motel rooms. Clean and air-conditioned!

Friendly staff and great amenities. I slept at the hotel, got fuel, and bought some snacks. Kinda expensive, but completely understandable considering that everything is shipped out there in the middle of nowhere.
