I would highly recommend a trip to Uluru. The resorts are great and there are plenty of tours available to see Uluru and Kata Tjuta.

Absolutely beautiful place. So much better than any pic. Well worth a visit. Must do the sunrise and sunset viewing. The walk around it is stunning.

This is really one of the most amazing things I've ever seen in my life. depending on where you are and the lighting this color is different. the walk around it gives you better perspective on how large and beautiful it really is. bring bug spray tho the flies are in full force here.

Visiting Ayers was a great experience. Australia’s outback is beautiful. I chose to climb to the top. If you do as well, make sure you’re in reasonable physical shape. It is a bit of a climb. I saw people who had no business being up there. But, once you get to the top, the view is incredible. But, like I said, I love the Australian outback. I went during the spring time, and the one thing I couldn’t stand were the flies. It was so bad I had to buy a head net. If you go out there, prepare yourself for that.

Something to cross off your bucket list! I had expectations of what this would be like but was completely blown away when seeing it up close. It's one of those things where you can't imagine the enormity, complete dominance of the landscape or majesty from pictures. Uluru starts to loom out of the landscape from 20 kilometres or so away. Up close it's enormous. Our family did a segway tour around the base which I'd highly recommend. It was easy, fun and our guide was very knowledgable.
